Brothers from across the country sent over 95 letters to Congressional leaders to support Immigration Reform in 2017. Lambda Theta Phi launched their #Lambdas4Reform Initiative in Summer 2016 and has several other initiatives planned this year, including Lambdas on the Hill in April 2017 with Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc.
Following the U.S. Supreme Court’s split decision on Thursday, many members of the Fraternity found it necessary for the organization to draft a resolution speaking out against the federal government’s continued complicit support of policies that divide families, endanger human beings and the stability of immigrant communities.
The 2016 National Convention will be held June 23-26, 2016 in Miami, FL at the historic Deauville Beach Resort, located right on Miami Beach. The 2016 Convention marks the 40th year of Lambda Theta Phi and the Latin@ Greek Movement in the United States.
Lambda recognized a number of individual brothers and entities for excellence in academics, philanthropy, service and leadership that exemplifies the best of Lambda Theta Phi. Awards were vetted by a panel of brothers who work in students affairs at 4-year institutions.
Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. held its 2015 National Brotherhood Conference this past weekend (June 24 – 26, 2015) in Atlanta, Georgia. The conference theme of “Empowering our Brotherhood: One Purpose, One Future” was revisited throughout the weekend with a number of sessions focusing on fraternal values and current issues in Greek life.
