PARSIPPANY, NJ — During the 2015 National Brotherhood Conference in Atlanta, Executive Director Jarrod Cruz announced that Miami Beach, Florida will be the host of Lambda Theta Phi’s National Convention in 2016. The 2016 National Convention will be important as it marks the 40th anniversary of Lambda Theta Phi and the Latin@ Greek Movement in the United States. The Convention will also be host to elections for the National Executive Board and the Board of Trustees.
The National Convention will be held June 23-26, 2016 at the historic Deauville Beach Resort, located right on Miami Beach. More information for brothers and vendors will be provided at www.lambdaconvention.com.
Founded on December 1, 1975 at Kean University in Union, New Jersey, Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. is the first nationally recognized Greek-letter organization founded as a Latin fraternity. The membership of Lambda Theta Phi is open to all college men who support its values of scholarship, respect for all cultures, community service, and the advancement and fair treatment of Latin@s in the United States. Lambda Theta Phi was the first Latin Fraternity to be recognized by the North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) and has over 140 Chapters and Colonies across the United States.
