Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. is please to announce the brothers who are participating in our Lambdas on the Hill pilot program in partnership with Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. The two-day advocacy program will take place April 27-28, 2017 in Washington D.C. and serves as a direct opportunity for our members to meet with elected officials and advocate for our communities. This initiative is in partnership with the Lambdas for Immigration Reform Initiative while Lambda Theta Alpha selected Immigration Reform as their top advocacy topic this past February.

Lambda Theta Phi is excited to live up to our mission and purpose to advocate for our communities on issues of importance. The following brothers will attend meetings with members of Congress to share their personal stories concerning immigration.

Earlier this month, participating brothers joined members of Lambda Theta Alpha for a virtual briefing and were tasked with calling their elected officials to schedule meetings on the Hill. A more in-depth training will be held next week in preparation for the event. With this partnership, we hope to serve as a voice for the Latino community and demonstrate the immense power that lies within our organizations.
