COSA Seeks Social Justice Advocates

The Committee On Social Activism (COSA) exist to empower the brothers to take on appropriate social justice issues on their campuses, in their local community, and anywhere else they see fit.

Plan of Action for COSA

Provide information to the regional, sector, and undergraduate body about how to understand their local constituents needs and how to act appropriately to address those needs in a powerful, impactful, and sustainable way.

Use national power to coordinate intersectional issues across regional bounds.

Take on national campaigns of social and cultural awareness.

We are in search of (5-6) brothers who would like to serve on the committee for the 2017 calendar year. As far as time commitment, this includes meeting once a month to develop, implement, and execute multiple initiatives geared towards social activism. Additionally, there might be workshops/presentations that we may do throughout the year.

  • Immigration
  • Racial Justice
  • Access to Education
  • Patriarchy and Masculinity
  • Environmental Rights

Brothers selected to serve on the committee will be emailed no later than April 30, 2017 about the decision.
