GALLOWAY, NEW JERSEY – Theta Chapter (The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey) was founded on November 20, 1988 nearly 25 years ago. As the chapter prepares for its anniversary, alumni brothers from the chapter have increased their involvement as they plan the 25th Anniversary Gala to benefit the Damon Kirkland Memorial Scholarship.
Over fifty-five brothers have crossed at Theta, and have helped to develop its well-known traditions of excellence and service to the community. One of the chapter’s hallmark efforts has been to increase the rates of Latinos attending college from the Atlantic City area. A percentage of the proceeds from the 25th Anniversary Gala will go to the Damon Kirkland Memorial Scholarship, a fund created in 2008 to support the memory of Brother Kirkland.
