The Committee on Social Activism (COSA) promotes the mission, visions and values of the organization on issues that are important to the Hispanic/Latino community in the United States. While the committee will not take a stance on specific legislation, the committee will educate its members on the important issues facing our community and will educate them on an issues that would benefit the majority of our members, their families, and our community.

Lambda Theta Phi denounces Texas SB4 as it is not in alignment with the mission and values of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc., and we do not support any and all oppressive policies that dehumanize and discriminate against people or communities.
Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. and Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. hosted a successful two-day advocacy program on Capitol Hill where members shared stories to their Congressional leaders on behalf of local communities.

Brothers from across the country sent over 95 letters to Congressional leaders to support Immigration Reform in 2017. Lambda Theta Phi launched their #Lambdas4Reform Initiative in Summer 2016 and has several other initiatives planned this year, including Lambdas on the Hill in April 2017 with Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc.
