Lambda Theta Phi values the privacy of our members. As such, our policy places specific limits on who may be able to receive your contact information and the ways in which it can be accessed. Only those who meet the following criteria are permitted to receive your contact information.
- All brothers with access to LambdaNet, whether in your chapter/colony or another chapter/colony, may access updated profile information of brothers through online viewing only.
- The Regional and/or Sector Vice President may request a spreadsheet with contact information for their specific Sector or Region with the purpose of updating information within the database or for other State/Regional programming initiatives approved by the National Executive Board.
- The Regional and/or Sector Alumni Affairs Officer may request a spreadsheet with contact information for their specific Sector/Region, or brothers whose mailing addresses are in their State/Region, or those undergraduate brothers who may be graduating within 1 year from their State/Region, with the purpose of updating information within the database or for other State/Regional programming initiatives approved by the National Executive Board.
The Executive Director, National President, National Vice President, National Director of Membership and other brothers approved by the National Executive Board shall have access to information within LambdaNet. Those who have access shall sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Entity Presidents shall be the official liaison to any approved partners of the Fraternity and their contact information may be shared with approved partners from time-to-time to advance the mission and purpose of Lambda Theta Phi.
Lambda Theta Phi undergraduate and alumni mailing lists are for the exclusive use of volunteers and alumni entities for the sole purpose of updating membership rosters and/or for the distribution of entity newsletters and other important information, contacting alumni by mail or email regarding entity anniversary, reunion/brotherhood events, conference/trainings, or some other specific need approved by the National Executive Board for such purpose.
It is expressly understood that undergraduate and alumni lists may contain personal and proprietary information and are not to be sold or given to any outside agency, individual or business for the purposes of solicitation or telemarketing. Such action is a violation of federal privacy laws and is subject to prosecution. By requesting and receiving such a list, you accept and agree to these terms and conditions and understand that violation of the same will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action to you and your chapter/colony.
Brothers may choose to opt out from sharing certain information. We encourage all brothers to maintain an accurate record with updated information that will be stored in the database; however, if one chooses to opt-out, only the database administrator will have access to that information. Once a brother completes the ‘Update Your Profile’ link, the profile will have options on what information you care to receive.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the protection of private information, please contact Executive Director Jarrod Cruz.
